Congratulations, your abstract has been accepted by the advisory board of embedded world Conference 2012. Due to the excellent quality and large number of abstracts we expect a very interesting conference.

We are pleased you will be joining us February 28 - March 1, 2012 at the NürnbergConvention Center NCC, NürnbergMesse, Messezentrum, 90471 Nürnberg, Germany.

Congratulations are also in order as our audience demands superior quality and we accept only a privileged few to speak. As a speaker at the embedded world Conference 2012, you are part of a small group of selected industry experts.

First and foremost, we would like you to be aware that you are now affiliated with the embedded world Conference 2012, and that your presentation plays a pivotal role in the success of the congress. Our chief objective is to produce an event recognized for its high-caliber technical presentations. As such, we strongly caution speakers against commercial presentations. Marketing pitches severely mar the integrity of the congress and, it should be noted, diminish the credibility of the speaker for attendees who are expecting content-rich sessions. In promoting a speaker’s participation in the technical program, companies are strongly encouraged to keep the concerns above in mind. We will not support or invite back any speaker who delivers a presentation with a focus on their company’s products or services or who otherwise compromises the spirit of the speaker’s role as outlined here.

Final paper deadline:

  • Please send the final paper until latest Tuesday, January 17, 2012.
  • PDF-File, 300dpi.
  • max. 10 pages
  • font: Arial or Times New Roman (Figures and Tables: Courier)
  • single or two column
  • Contact address of the author(s).
  • Please transform your final paper into PDF-format yourself. Do not forget to include special fonts and check the PDF-file for graphic and fonts faults finally.
  • Your paper will be distributed as part of the conference proceedings CD-ROM (with ISBN; book character).

 Your presentation:  

  • Just in case: Please bring a USB Memory Stick with your presentation with you!!
  • In order to prepare for the event, we would like to ask you to please forward your presentation (.PPT-file) until February 10, 2012 to Mrs. Renate Ester. We will collect the presentations and put it onto the presentation notebooks.
  • We will keep the files in confidence!
  • You don't have to bring your own notebook with you. Technical equipment available: Notebook, Beamer, Laser Pointer.
  • Please let us know if you need any further special technical equipment for your lecture (audio, video, etc.).
  • There are no rules for the files, you are free to choose your own layout and font(s).
  • Each conference room is equipped with a notebook that has the presentations on the harddisk and a video beamer.

Registration: 

  • You don´t have to register separately - you are allowed to attend the full conference on all three days free of charge.
  • The registration counter for the embedded world Conference is located in the entrance area of NCC Ost (New!). You will receive a room information on-site.
  • Our team will welcome you from Tuesday February 28 through Thursday March 1, from 8:00 am.
  • You will reveice the conference proceedings, your name badge and a lunch voucher for the day of your lecture.
  • Please pick up your conference badge before entering the exhibition area. The badge will also give free entrance to the exhibition halls.
  • Stay informed – please have a look on the program regularly.

Co-Authors: 

  • Due to numerous enquiries concerning conference fees for co-authors, the Conference Committee has decided to proceed as follows:
  • If your co-author wishes to attend the conference, the attendance of the session your paper is scheduled for is free of charge.
  • In order to attend any further conference sessions or conference blocks, your co-author has to register separately for the parts of the conference he/she wishes to attend.
  • In this case, the conference organizer gives a discount of 50% for the co-author (please note "co-author" after your last name).
